Frequently asked questions
Make an informed decision.
Start with what concerns you. Understand the checks, optional assistance and actual limits before choosing how much help you need.
01 / Your questions
Does this fit my situation?
Start with a specific concern or a broader check of supported public sources.
What does Nomelys check?
Nomelys checks supported public websites, search results, selected data brokers and sampled AI answers. Your written proposal specifies sources, countries, tools and quotas. Contact our team to discuss a check.
What do the AI checks show?
They record what selected tools returned for defined prompts at a particular time. Review identity, dates and available citations. Sampled answers do not reveal everything an AI system knows or might say.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Scan and Protect are one-time services. Monitor is optional and requires a separate agreement covering the recurring charge and defined monthly checks.
My home address is on business websites. Where do I start?
Record the exact profile or document and how the address is described. A home address, registered office and business contact address can raise different questions. Directory assistance starts by distinguishing the source, the copies and any Google result, so you can assess the appropriate requests.
Can you help if I am linked to a company or role I left?
We assess whether the page gives an incorrect current impression, contains a factual error or accurately records a historic role. Dates, company identifiers and evidence of your departure can support a focused correction. Accurate history is not automatically removable simply because you have moved on.
I have already tried requests myself. Do I have to start again?
Bring the remaining links, request dates and replies. Completed corrections should be distinguished from unanswered or refused requests. The mission should identify the unresolved work and account for what you have already done; it does not promise to reverse a refusal.
Do I need a full package for one URL?
Not necessarily. Scan is intended to provide findings independently of managed requests. The right scope depends on the checks and actions you want to delegate. Discuss a focused concern before choosing a package.
Can the same process be used in France and Belgium?
No single procedure should be assumed to fit both. The publishers, official sources, legal forms and documents can differ. The France and Belgium guides explain those differences; they do not establish that every page or case is supported. The assessment and written proposal need to identify the actual country and publication involved.
Can public-register information be erased?
Not automatically. Official disclosure and retention requirements can limit what may change. A private directory, an official register and Google are separate recipients. The service concerns personal information about individuals; it does not provide a general route to erase a company's history.
02 / Your questions
What am I paying for?
Compare the fee with the tasks you want to delegate and the scope in the proposal.
Why choose managed assistance?
Nomelys handles the agreed review, preparation, coordination and follow-up, so you can keep sight of the work without managing each step. Direct requests to publishers or Google can usually be made without a fee. Our fee covers the agreed work; it does not buy priority or guarantee approval.
What does Nomelys Protect include?
The package adds managed assistance to Scan: supported broker opt-outs within a separate quota, up to three eligible standard source or delisting actions, and a 30-day status follow-up. Each standard action includes one submission and one routine follow-up. Your written proposal confirms coverage and terms before work begins.
How are profiles, documents and Google links counted?
A standard action is one eligible request to one identified publisher or search engine, with one submission and one routine follow-up. Multiple destinations may require separate actions. Broker opt-outs use a separate stated quota.
What is the difference between removal and delisting?
A source correction or removal changes information on the publisher's website. Google delisting can restrict a particular link in certain searches for your name while the source page remains online. Other searches or countries may still show it. Neither approach should be described as removing you from the whole internet.
Can you guarantee removal?
No. The publisher or Google decides whether to accept a request. The fee covers the agreed work, not guaranteed disappearance. Your final report should distinguish actual corrections, removals, delistings, refusals and pending decisions.
What happens to the fee if no removal is achieved?
Read the final offer's payment, withdrawal, cancellation and refund conditions before buying. A refused request, undelivered work and a cancellation are different situations. This draft does not offer an automatic refund promise; a refusal alone does not determine your rights.
Is monitoring included in a one-time purchase?
No. Scan and Protect are one-time options. Monitor is separate and optional. Source coverage, checking frequency, recurring price and cancellation terms must be disclosed before subscriptions open.
03 / Your questions
What happens during the work?
Understand what you provide, what needs your agreement and what the final record tells you.
Does an assessment start requests or create a paid order?
No. A preliminary assessment identifies the concern and whether a scoped mission is appropriate. Paid work requires an accepted proposal, payment arrangements and appropriate written authorization. Completing a form does not mean a request has been sent to a directory or Google.
How long does the process take?
Protect proposes a 30-day status follow-up, not a removal deadline. Recipients control their response times. Your report distinguishes pending decisions from verified changes.
What happens if a request is refused?
The reason is recorded and explained, with one follow-up within the accepted mission. Additional escalation, regulator complaints, litigation and legal representation are outside the package and need a separate route. A refusal remains a refusal in the final report.
What will the final report show?
The agreed pages and actions, the replies received and the outcome observed: corrected, removed at source, Google-delisted, refused, pending or ineligible. A record of messages sent is not proof of removal. The sample on the pricing page illustrates the format using fictional examples.
04 / Your questions
Who is involved, and what stays private?
Know the operator, the purpose of your information and the current status of the service.
How do I book a service?
Tell us what concerns you through the contact form. Our team helps you choose the right service and confirms the next steps.
Who operates Nomelys?
The brand is operated by Nomelys LLC. The current contact is legal@nomelys.com. Registered address, registration/VAT details and jurisdiction are to be confirmed in the service agreement. See About and the operator notice for the current information.
Will my assessment be made public?
No public case directory is part of the service. Requests made on your behalf necessarily disclose relevant information to the publisher or search engine receiving them. Detailed reports require appropriate authorization. The draft privacy notice explains the intended handling and the information needed for an agreed service.
Is Nomelys a law firm or affiliated with Google?
No. Nomelys is a managed assessment and administration service, not a law firm, public authority or Google partner. Cases requiring legal representation, urgent safety intervention, specialist content protection or company-review management are outside the standard personal-data package.
